A Cinematic Visual Feast

Ah, Blade Runner

Originally released in 1982, it remains the epitome of neo-noir cinema, as well as the inspiration for today’s science fiction films, video games, television series, and even some of my own design work. So it was no surprise that Blade Runner 2049, the sequel released last year was, quite possibly, the most visually breathtaking piece of cinematic work I have ever witnessed. Spending the extra money, that I don’t have, to see it in IMAX was the greatest decision of my life. No doubt.

If for some reason, you didn’t go see this visual masterpiece on the biggest screen available to you, shame on you, but have no fear! I’ve taken it upon myself to screenshot the majestic trailer and put together this beautiful collection. If these get your juices flowing like mine, then you owe it to yourself to buy the blu-ray. You will not regret it. And if you’re especially aroused by these visuals, check out this gorgeous book: The Art and Soul of Blade Runner 2049. There’s even a deluxe edition that I would certainly purchase if I didn’t spend all of my money on IMAX tickets. Worth it. <3

Feast your eyes, my friends!
